Ronald T. Davis, M.D.
earned his medical degree at the Yale University School of Medicine.  His internship and residency in Therapeutic Radiology were completed at the University of California, San Diego Medical Center.  He is certified by the American Board of Radiology in Therapeutic Radiology.  Dr. Davis has been associated with Radiation Medical Group since 1974 and is our Chief Executive Officer.

Sara G. Rosenthal, M.D.
received her medical degree from Harvard Medical School and completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the Columbia University Presbyterian Hospital in New York.  She went on to a fellowship in Medical Oncology / Hematology at the University of California, San Diego Medical Center.  Dr. Rosenthal then served her Therapeutic Radiology residency at the University of California, San Diego Medical Center.  She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, American Board of Internal Medicine in Medical Oncology, and the American Board of Radiology in Therapeutic Radiology.  Dr. Rosenthal joined Radiation Medical Group in 1985.

Donald B. Fuller, M.D.
earned his doctorate at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, Washington.  He completed his internship at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, California and his Radiation Oncology residency at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.  He is certified by the American Board of Radiology in Radiation Oncology.

Dr. Fuller joined Radiation Medical Group in 1988.  His interests in the specialty include prostate cancer radiotherapy, prostate brachytherapy, and radiation dose escalation for a variety of malignancies through the appropriate application of intensity modulated radiotherapy (IMRT), brachytherapy and SRS/SBRT techniques. He is one of the directors of Western Cancer Center and Radiation Medical Group, specializing in advanced technology integration.

Damon E. Smith, M.D.
received his medical degree from the Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  He completed his internship at the Wadsworth VA  (UCLA) and residency in Radiation Oncology at Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles.  Dr. Smith is board certified by the American Board of Radiology in Radiation Oncology.  Dr. Smith has been associated with Radiation Medical Group since 1995, having served on the faculty at UCSD School of Medicine from 1994 to 1995.  He is an Assistant Clinical Professor with the University of California, San Diego.  He has an interest and special training in treatment of tumors of the Central Nervous System and in optimization of treatment by more accurate delivery of radiation.  He is an active member of the American Society of Therapeutic and Radiation Oncologists, the American College of Radiation Oncology, and the International Stereotactic Radiosurgery Society.

Gina J. Mansy, M.D.
earned her medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine.  She completed her Internal Medicine internship with Tufts University Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts.  Dr. Mansy served her residency in Radiation Oncology at the Tufts University New England Medical Center.  She has a special interest in women's health,  particularly breast and gynecologic malignancies.  She is certified by the American Board of Radiology in Radiation Oncology, and joined Radiation Medical Group in 1998.

Yonina Tova, M.D.
  earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois School of Medicine in Chicago,  Illinois.  She served her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago,  and her Radiation Oncology residency at Loyola University Hospital.   She is certified by the American Board of Radiology in Radiation Oncology, and the American Board of Internal Medicine.   Dr. Tova has been associated with Radiation Medical Group since 1998

Dr. Tova has specific interest in and has had special training in partial breast radiation therapy (MammoSite and Interstitial brachytherapy) and Cyberknife.

Tahir Ijaz, M.D.
earned his medical degree and completed his internship at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Canada.  He served his Radiation Oncology residency at the University of Manitoba / Manitoba Cancer Foundation.  His fellowship in Radiation Oncology was accomplished at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, and was followed by a faculty position as Clinical Instructor on the Head and Neck Oncology service.  Dr. Ijaz is certified by the American Board of Radiology in Radiation Oncology and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and joined Radiation Medical Group in 2000.

Specific areas of interest and expertise include treatment of Head & Neck, Prostate and Lung Cancers. He is trained in the use of CyberKnife ® stereotactic body therapy, radioactive seed implants for prostate and intensity modulated radiotherapy (IMRT).

Reza Shirazi, M.D.
, earned his medical degree at The Chicago Medical School at the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science.  He served his internship at Loyola University Medical Center, and completed his residency in Radiation Oncology at the University of Cincinnati Barrett Cancer Center.  He joined Radiation Medical Group in 2006.

 
Huan Giap, M.D.


Dr. Huan B. Giap earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center; and his Doctor of Philosophy in Medical Physics from the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas in 1994.  His Transitional Internship was at St. Joseph Hospital in Houston; and his residency in Radiation Oncology was at Loma Linda University Medical Center which he completed in 1998.  He went on to a Clinical Fellowship in Stereotactic Radiosurgery and Brachytherapy at Scripps Clinic in La Jolla, California.  Dr. Giap is board certified by the American Board of Radiology.  Dr. Giap joined Radiation Medical Group in 2008, having served as a staff radiation oncologist at Scripps Clinic in La Jolla from 1999 to 2008.  He is an active member of the American Society of Therapeutic and Radiation Oncologists and the CyberKnife Society.

 

P. Sanghvi, M.D.


Parag Sanghvi, M.D, M.S.P.H earned his masters degree in Public Health from Emory University in Atlanta, GA in 1999 and then went on to earn his medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA in 2003. He did his internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA.  He completed his residency in Radiation Oncology at the Oregon Health Science University in Portland, OR where he served as the Chief Resident.

Dr. Sanghvi joined Radiation Medical Group in August 2008. His interests include CNS, Head and Neck, GI and pediatric malignancies. He has a special interest in both intra-cranial and extra-cranial stereotactic radiosurgery. He is a member of the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology, the American College of Radiology, the American Medical Association, the American Brachytherapy Society and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
